Food for special medical purposes FOMEAL is a specialized nutritional meal replacement shake for enteral tube feeding patients; provides balanced nutrition with standard energy (1 kcal/ml) from safe and healthy natural ingredients, formula with combination of easily absorbed Peptide & MCTs helps to improve food intolerance for patients. 

• Standard energy 1 kcal/ml from 100% safe and healthy natural ingredients. Provide 20 vitamins and minerals that are essential for quick recovery.

• Improve food intolerance: The combination of Peptides and Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs) is easily absorbed, suitable for patients with impaired digestive function, gastrointestinal malabsorption or prolonged diarrhea.

Main ingredients

Water, lean pork, rice, soybean, potato, carrot, pumpkin, soybean oil, medium chain triglycerides (MCTs), Orgalife Special Premix.

*Does not contain lactose, gluten; No added sugar; No preservatives.

Serving size and packing

237 ml carton (1 pack = 3 cartons, 1 box = 10 packs).
500 ml carton (1 box = 16 cartons).

Indications

- Patient is indicated to eat via feeding tube.

- Patients with malabsorption or eating difficulties; patients with asthenia.

- Pre- and post-operation patients; people in need of meal replacements and nutritional supplements.

*The product is suitable for adults and children from 4 years old, can be used by pregnant and breastfeeding under the guidance of doctor.

Suggested use

Product can be used via feeding tube or drink directly. Shake well before using. 

Recommended dosage:

• From 4-8 years old: 1 carton 237 ml/day. 
• From 9-13 years old: depends on nutritional needs, can use 3-5 cartons 237 ml/day or 1-2 cartons 500 ml/day. 
• From aged 14 and over: depends on nutritional needs, can use 3-6 cartons 237 ml/day or 2-3 cartons 500 ml/day. 

**The recommended dosage for each specific patient should be under the guidance of medical professional.

Storage

At room temperature, in cool, dry places, keep away from direct sunlight. Once opened, product should be used up within 18 hours; if not used up, cover tightly, the product must be stored in the refrigerator and used up within 24 hours.

Note

• Do not mix the product with water or other foods when using.
• Do not use when the box is bulged or damaged and the fluid is curdled.
• The product can be warmed up under 40^oC.
• Due to the packaging properties, do not heat the entire carton in the microwave.

Expiration date

12 months from date of manufacture.
